Tech Class 1

Each tech discuss Problem / possible solution / dynamic technique

Slow technique from all angles & sides

Warm up stretch

Warm up with attacking a shield with various kick and punches while shield is moved around. 2 rounds each

Tech 1

Defending overhead stab against stick

Defender in passive stance, defend inside with inside of right forearm (if attacker is right handed) control with left hand and counter with right, tech is very similar to straight stab defence when hands are switching

Tech 2

Defending various knife threats

Have the attacker hold the knife on the defender at different angle, sometimes with a grab, sometimes pushing, remember Redirection—Control – Counter ie move weapon away, control it well and counter with kick or punch, try 1 handed and 2 handed control, and slap kick run type defence

As above but work on a 3rd party type defence, remember only go for the weapon if you judge that it is practical in a particular situation

Tech 3

Soft break fall forward, escape from scarf hold,

try 2 or 3 three types as in the videos attacker has head high and then try with head low.
