Krav Maga Tech Class

Warm Up – Joint mobilisation, 5min cv & then stretch 5 min

Discuss Problem -Give a possible solution (technique) and show in a fast dynamic way

Show the technique slowly and from various angles and sides

Have your students then dry run the technique slowly before building in speed.

Spawl – With a partner sprawl (hands out, head to side) stand back up
knee strike a shield, repeat 5reps then change total 3 sets each VIDEO-sprawl 5min

Guilotine attacker attempts a grab around your waist, its too late to do a sprawl as a defence so we bring our forearms under his chin and put him into a guillotine choke, then strike with the knee to the foot to his groin 10min
Defending straight attacks
Defending front kick drill using 1.rear hand and 2.defending using the shin. VIDEO-defending frontkick drill
Defending straight stab against a knife using a stick like common object this time 2 handed hold of the stick. we intercept the stab with an inside defence using the stick the same way that we use our forearm, then counter attack. we do not yet have a video for this exact technique but a similar one is found here VIDEO-defending using stick type weapons 10min
Defending Grabs & Holds

Defend arm bar choke from rear (using forearm) VIDEO – Arm bar choke

Defend arterial choke from rear, VIDEO-Arterial choke both using 2 handed grab on attackers hands (or grab as close to them as possible) pull down turn head and pivot through, then counter.

Release from nelson grab, grab attackers hands, pull fingers to get his hand off, pull one hand off then elbow him with your other arm VIDEO-release from nelson grab 10min

wrist release against attacker who has hold of one hand and weapon to your throat, knock the weapon AWAY from throat as you simultaneously release your wrist, by dropping elbow down and pulling wrist upwards, counter attack quickly then move away VIDEO-wrist release low 5min

Finish with slow fighting (70% of full speed) 2x 2min rounds
