Side Kicks

Step side Kick

Emphasis on being able to cover distance, remember fast recoil after the kick

Skip Side Kick

Emphasis on a faster snappier attack at closer distance

Step side kick with a slide

With this kick we get a great distance covered and the kick really penetrates the target

*Defend all of the above with rear hand sweep and body defence

Knife attack

(Self defence for the lesson)

Straight stab defence

Defending with the forearm and a body defence , try both with left foot forward and right.

Defending a fast moving forward moving attacker

Hook Punches

Hook punch & elbow combinations

Against focus mitts, 2 hooks punches followed by and elbow strike

· defend hook punches with forearm, bloke & counter

· Defend hook punches, block grab attacker arm and counter at the same time, follow with knee strike.

Cool down and stretch
